I have a feeling if we have a boy, there will be a lot of disappointed people!! But guess what? I don’t care! :) I’m kidding of course. I know that no one will be disappointed. I think people are voting girl because they want to buy all the cute girly stuff. I would LOVE to have a girl at some point to dress up, but not a big deal if I don’t have one this time. I will get my little girl someday! But, who knows, perhaps little Frankie is a girl! I think it would also be great to have a boy first. Everyone loves an older brother, right? I never had one, but I hear they are great! I LOVE, LOVE our boy names. It would be fun to be able to use one of them! Our girl names are cute too; I just for some reason really love our boy names.
Oh man, all of this is driving me nuts!! I need to keep myself very busy today and not think about it. But, it is so hard! Hopefully we will know what Frankie is by tomorrow morning. I am glad I have a morning appointment. It would drive me crazy to have to sit at work for part of the day before going to the doctor. Well, stay tuned…I will update tomorrow!!

Anxious.
Ahhh!! I want to know SO bad what this baby is! And the fact that I should be going to the doctor this week doesn’t help the matter. I want to call and ask if they have had a cancelation. Oh well, good for my patience. I guess I can wait 6 more days. I really hope Franklin cooperates and we can tell what he/she is. Wouldn’t that be disappointing if we couldn’t tell?! So please pray for a facing front baby:) And for him/her to be healhy! That is truly our biggest concern. I am ready to see this baby growing inside me!
Also, I have really come to the conclusion that I do not like being called preggo or preggers. I feel like it takes the cuteness out of being pregnant.
That’s all I have. Happy Wednesday!

Half way there!!!!!!!!
Franklin is half way done! He/She is currently the length of a banana and weighs 10 ½ ounces- My, how he/she has grown!
I am staring to look pregnant-FINALLY. Jeans are WAY too tight these days. I can button them- but once I sit down, it hurts. And the bella band…not sure that I think it’s the greatest invention. If your pants aren’t buttoned or zipped, they fall down. Anyone else have that problem? I’d rather just stick to my leggings and dresses-which I wear almost every day.
Little Frankie is moving more and more. I have seen him a few times from the outside of my belly. Just little pokes though, nothing too huge. A few times I have felt him/her; I have tried to show Loren. It seems like by the time Loren is looking baby is back to sleep. Darn! Someday…
Saturday night I slept a whole 4 hours without waking up! This was great! I know, sounds ridiculous right? Well, have you know, I wake up probably 5-6 times a night to go to the bathroom. Good thing Loren is a heavy sleeper! So, 4 hours of sleep was glorious. Hoping for a repeat of that again soon.
Here are a few pictures of me at 20 weeks.
Getting bigger!!

Today is Loren’s birthday! Happy Birthday to the one I could not live my life without! There is no one I would rather do life with. You are the greatest husband and I know you will be a wonderful father. I love you so much! Xoxo!
Here are a few photos from Loren's birthday celebration on Saturday-
Yes, Loren has a gross mustache...He shaved it "pencil thin" for his b-day celebration and shaved it completely off today:) FINALLY!!!

Really?
Somehow my pants STILL button at 19 weeks. I do not understand this. My belly is getting bigger but it seems to be higher where it's biggest. hmmm...maybe I won't get too huge? Let's hope so!

I've got bubbles in my stomach!
Pretty sure I feel this baby moving around! It is so...weird:) and amazing, of course! It feels like bubbles and sometimes muscle spasms. I don't feel it too much-just a few times a day for a quick minute. Hooray for a moving baby!
Well, we have been quite busy the past week. My parents came last Thursday. My dad had to leave Monday but my mom stayed and rode the train home last night. Always sad to see them leave:( It will be even more sad when little Franklin is here!!
Here are a few highlights of the week:
The week was filled with lots of other things and shopping. It was great! Now we only have 2 1/2 more weeks until the ultrasound-can't wait to find out what Franklin is...if a girl, we will have to change the name to something more girlie...Frannie? Ha- we will cross that bridge when we come to it.
Oh and I am due 5 months from today! Hopefully we will be holding sweet little Frankie in our arms!!

Here are a few highlights of the week:
- The baby's room is painted! I wouldn't have painted so early, but my mom needed something to do while I worked this week. I wanted an orange room, no matter the gender. The thought of pink walls is overwhelming to me and blue walls, I already have a blue mudroom. So, I am going with a fun random color...orange! And oh boy is it orange! If it is a boy we will have a Bronco theme, since we live so close to the stadium...NOT! I just figured orange goes well with pink and green or blue and green. I am going to sew the bedding and such, so I am sure I will find some great fabrics. Thank you mom for getting a big project checked off! We love it! (I will put pictures up later on. All we did was paint and it is and will be our office for a few more months)
- My stomach is really popping out these days. I would say within the past week this baby bell pepper has sure grown! The lady checking us out at Gap yesterday totally wanted to ask me if I was pregnant. She kept looking at my stomach. I'm sure she didn't want to be "that person" to ask someone if they were pregnant and then get a "no" as a response.
- It was in the 60s all week! Until it decided to snow all day yesterday. It was absolutely beautiful! My mom and I went for lots of walks with the dogs around Sloan's lake. Spring was in the air! I even sat outside for lunch last week and got some color! I love that warm sunshine-please come back!
- Perhaps the biggest highlight of the week was...I got the stroller I wanted!!! I have been checking around for stuff and briefly was looking on craigslist. I found a VERY gently used BumbleRide stroller for a great deal! My mom and I went and picked it up on Wednesday. The stroller is seriously hardly used, it looks brand new! It is adorable! The lady I bought it from found out she is having twins, therefore needed a double stroller. We came home with it and I wanted to take it on our walk. I've got to practice right? :) I haven't taken it yet, but I will need to take it for a test ride sometime.

I am ready to feel you move Franklin!
Are you really in there little one?? That is my question…When you can’t feel anything; it’s hard to believe there is something in there! At church on Sunday I did have a sensation in my lower abdomen. Maybe it was a moving baby? It’s hard to tell if it was the baby turnip :) I’m sure within the next few weeks I will know for sure.
We went to the doctor on Friday. We heard the sweet sound of our baby’s heart beating again. 155 beats/minute-so fast! Next appointment is the ultrasound! Hooray! We are so excited not only to find out the gender, but to see our sweet babe! Last time we saw Franklin, he was soooo small. He looked like a little bean. An adorable bean, of course! This next time we will see a developing baby! Ahhh-I just can’t wait! But, I must wait 4 more weeks.
It is just amazing how fast time goes. I am in my 4th month. I don’t think you can tell, unless you know. That bump is growing slow and steady. I do feel like over the last few days my belly has popped a bit. I went for a run on Saturday and had a tighter shirt on and I could not suck in. That was this first time I really felt like I have grown. I am totally feeling better. Which is a HUGE plus! Anyone who has gone through this knows what a blessing it is to finally feel better! It felt like there was no end for awhile. Now those miserable days seem so far behind me.
I am so anxious for spring. I want to play outside and plant flowers and grill out and enjoy the sunshine! Although, here in Colorado, we do not have much to complain about. We have great winters with lots of 50 degree days in between the cold and snow. I am just ready for consistent warm, sunny days. I won’t get too excited yet. I know we will probably have another snowstorm or two late March or April.
My parents come in two days! I am so excited to see them. Christmas seems like it was so long ago. Last time we saw them, we told them they were going to be grandparents! Maybe they will think my belly looks bigger :)

The cloud is lifting??
What’s happening this week:
In the next few weeks, our baby will double his weight and add inches to his length! That is nuts! Right now, Franklin is about the size of an avocado: 4 1/2 inches long (head to rump) and 3 1/2 ounces. His/her heart is now pumping about 25 quarts of blood each day. They grow so fast, I can’t even believe it!
I think I am starting to feel better?! I’m not out of the water just yet. I still have my moments and/or days. I do have to say though, that my constant carsick feeling is becoming less consistent-woo hoo! I am more than ready to start enjoying this whole miracle. So far all I have felt is sick…no fun. I have really gotten a lot of headaches and I get so light headed and dizzy at times. And of course the nausea and vomitting. All of this is just so interesting. New experiences all around! I just feel...different. But of course I do! There is a sweet baby inside me!
We go to the doctor this week. I am excited. I feel like I live appointment to appointment. Can’t wait to hear that little heartbeat! I really love our doctor. She is so relaxed and makes me feel 100% comfortable. This whole thing is a bit scary when you’ve never done it before! So, I am so glad that she is so relaxed.
On a second note, everyone I know is having boys!! Last night I felt convinced we would have a boy (probably just because everyone else is). And then I had a dream we had a girl! Oh man…I can’t even begin to count the dreams I have had! This is starting to drive me a little nuts. I just want to know! Loren is so calm about it all. I don’t know that I could wait until I had the baby to find out. I love surprises, but that is too big of a surprise for me! 5 more weeks until we find out- I can make it!
Here is a picture of me at 16 weeks…getting a little bigger, maybe?? And don’t worry my pants STILL button. My Bella Band is waiting in my dresser for now…anytime now please!
